Every figure published on this site has to survive four rules before it goes live. They exist because the adult ad network category is unusually full of numbers that get copied between review sites until nobody remembers who measured them.
Rule one — a competitor's review is not a source
Directories and affiliate blogs quote each other. A deposit minimum that appears on nine sites usually traces back to one page written years ago. Nothing in the guide is sourced from another review. Where a figure could only be found in a vendor directory because the network publishes nothing itself, the sentence says so in the text, which is why the guide contains phrases like "single-directory figure — verify in-panel" rather than a clean-looking number.
Rule two — the network's own document wins
Payment thresholds come from published payment documentation and terms of service, and the document is linked inline so a reader can check it in one click. ExoClick's advertiser and publisher payment pages are both linked from the main guide for exactly this reason.
Rule three — regulators before reporters
The legal section rests on primary filings: Ofcom enforcement notices, the Supreme Court opinion in Free Speech Coalition v. Paxton, and Congressional Research Service analysis. News coverage is used only to attribute a company's own claim — and when a claim could not be independently verified, the guide says who could not verify it.
Rule four — date everything that moves
Deposit minimums, payout thresholds and moderation windows all drift. Each is dated, and the guide closes by telling readers to confirm in-panel before budgeting. That is not a disclaimer to cover the author; it is the correct instruction.
Judgement is labelled as judgement
Some of the guide is not a fact but an argument — most obviously the three-layer model used to grade inventory, and the decision to rank by cost of a first honest test rather than by claimed volume. Those passages are written in the first person and attributed to Christoph Trappe so a reader can weigh them differently from a documented threshold.
Corrections
A wrong threshold on this site costs a reader money, so corrections are treated as urgent rather than embarrassing. Send the figure and the source through the contact page. Confirmed errors are corrected in the text, and the verification date at the foot of the guide is updated. Nothing you send is stored beyond what the privacy policy describes. Where a correction changes a recommendation, the change is described rather than quietly swapped.
Commercial influence
